Hello again, and welcome to the newest revival of Inspired by Food and Inspired Foods..
Which, to fully combine my favorite brands – are now collectively called 1nspired.

Have a look around: Inspired Life Blog, Inspired Foods, Inspired Design

Want to know more?

1nspired started off as a small personal food blog, many years ago – called Inspired by Food, where simple food photos and recipes were shared, and where fellow bloggers became friends, but back then, blogging was for a passion and not exactly business earning material. While blogging was fun and just a platform to share, the first real step towards turning a blog into a tangible item, and creating delicious products…. with just one spark of inspiration, and a contact who had surplus of an ingredient, and a little excitement to research possibilities.. Fast forward a few years and a few changes in between, and in 2013 Inspired Foods was launched with its pilot product, Umami Shake and then a smoked chilli variation too.

Inspired Foods has always been a small, home based business that was started to service the need to bring quality natural products to the local market and to home cooks as well as serving the need to bring a passion into daily life and grow a little food dream. Natural products that are free from any harmful additives while ensuring great taste and quality, using local products where ever possible.

Unfortunately the time has come now for some more growth and a few more changes. While Inspired Foods will always be a part of the new brand, 1nspired – we have decided to discontinue Umami Shake and focus instead on bringing a new range into the market in the next year or two. The focus of the new products will be to keep it natural but also more accessible and affordable and of course, tasty too! In addition to the Inspired Foods changes, we are also introducing 2 new brands that fall under “1nspired”.

We hope you love what we have planned!

1nspired Design is a small freelance design agency, and we can cover your most basic design needs – to the more complicated. Need business logo’s created? Email signatures and other branding items? Websites and web forms, social media marketing and set up, wordpress blogs… to more personal items such as animated birthday invites, wedding invitations and stationery. The list does not end there – so please get in touch and see how we can help your design needs.

Inspired Life is a lifestyle service and blog that brings together the two passions of design and food. Currently just a blog, we hope to expand this brand in the future too.

The desire to begin my blogging journey again has come from months of really scrutinizing my health and and looking deeper into the effects of food on my body, and how small changes can have really big effects. Through this journey I hope that you too can learn the effects of food in our daily lives, and how to find healthier alternatives and make healthier choices.

After months of feeling unwell, and years of depression that felt like it would never go away – I had to take my health into my own hands and look further into what could have been causing my symptoms. I had already cut out wheat from my diet a few years ago when I discovered this was also a cause to many previous ailments.Initially diagnosed with psoriasis, years ago –  I quickly realized that all of my gastrointestinal symptoms were closely related to the consumption of wheat too.

Fast forward to now, and even cutting out wheat products was not enough anymore. Some symptoms were still present, and when you look a little closer, you probably wont believe how many products have hidden wheat or gluten. Each and every time I was unknowingly “glutened” my physical and mental health took a dive.

This really has opened my eyes and mind to learning about nutrition and how important it is to eat enough healthy foods, to gain enough vitamins for your body to function at ultimate level, and to avoid foods which cause fatigue and low energy. Believe me, it is easier said than done.

The 1nspired brand now incorporates “Inspired Foods” but also Inspired Design, and Inspired Life, and will be showcased as a blog which will be used to introduce new concepts and ideas in the future too.

The core values of what I write about have not changed too much – I still live a life as green and eco-friendly as i can, support local farmers or shops… and just try to live lightly, and happily ever after (and gluten free!)

This is my new journey, I hope you enjoy the ride!
